On April 23, 2026, the 2026 ASEAN Automotive Parts Procurement Fair grandly opened at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Centered on the theme "ASEAN Gateway, Global Pathway," the event brings together government representatives, business leaders, industry professionals, and international buyers to strengthen trade connections with ASEAN and drive the global growth of China's automotive and motorcycle parts industry.

The opening ceremony was attended by Fang Aiqing, former Vice Minister of Commerce and former Deputy Director of the Economic Affairs Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Wang Min, Party Secretary and President of the China General Chamber of Commerce, Zhao Minggang, former Deputy Director of the International Inspection, Quarantine Standards and Technical Regulations Research Center of the General Administration of Customs, representatives from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee and the CCPIT Nanning Committee, as well as delegates from organizations including the Automotive and Motorcycle Parts Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), the Guangxi Automotive Parts Trade Association, the Wenzhou Automotive and Motorcycle Parts Chamber of Commerce, PSA International (Singapore), and Qipeiquan (Auto Parts Circle).

Wang Min, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce, said in his remarks that Nanning, as China's key gateway to ASEAN, enjoys unique geographical advantages.
The exhibition covers more than 10,000 square meters and features nearly 300 exhibitors. Exhibits span automotive parts, motorcycle parts and components, and new energy vehicle supply chains. Dedicated exhibition areas for regional industrial clusters and investment promotion comprehensively showcase the complete industrial supporting system and innovative vitality of China's automotive and motorcycle parts industry.
Concurrent events include a forum on overseas market expansion and one-on-one business matchmaking sessions, offering in-depth interpretations of market access requirements, policies and regulations, customs clearance facilitation, and other key topics to help enterprises expand into international markets more efficiently.

Wei Xuewen, President of the Guangxi Auto Parts Trade Association, said that the exhibition coincides with Guangxi's grand ethnic cultural festival, where industrial vitality and the region's rich cultural charm complement each other. The Association will leverage the exhibition as a bridge to build a "Rainbow Bridge" for cooperation between Chinese auto parts enterprises and ASEAN markets, facilitating the entry of high-quality automotive components into ASEAN countries.

Cui Wei, APAC Director of CPS at PSA Singapore, noted that trade between China and ASEAN has surpassed US$1 trillion, while Chinese new energy vehicles (NEVs) and automotive components have achieved remarkable success in the Southeast Asian market. The forum will focus on practical topics such as regulatory compliance, certification, and market access, providing Chinese auto parts enterprises with actionable pathways and solutions for expanding overseas.

Amid enthusiastic applause, distinguished officials and guests joined together on stage to inaugurate the opening ceremony, officially declaring the 2026 ASEAN Auto & Motorcycle Parts Expo open.
